7 Keys Workshop in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe

Zayd Minty facilitated the first workshop using UCLG Culture Commitee's new 7 Keys approach to localising culture and the SDGs. Research on Community Arts Centres in South Africa

On behalf of the national Department of Sports, Arts and Culture and Sibikwa Arts Centre, Zayd Minty produced a report entitled Towards a Redefined Approach and Mandate for Community Arts Centre Ecosystem Development in South Africa. The report collated research done on community arts in Limpopo, Free State, Northern Cape and Mpumalanga to inform the DAC's strategy in the area of cultural participation. Shukuma Mzansi! 3 International Community Arts Centres Dialogue

Zayd Minty and Munyaradzi Chatikobi of Wits CPM presented and facilitated in Port Elizabeth/Gqebergha and Durban/Ethekweni for this road show exploring ideas of national cultural frameworks and municipal policies to support community arts centres.
